Start of Semester 4 will be delayed a while. I briefly mentioned last week, but I’ll go into a bit more detail today. Last week, layoffs hit my company last week. Business is just tough these days. It is what it is and I don’t need to go into any more detail than that, other than stating that it does have a financial impact on me and my husband. I’ve been working non-stop this past week to update my resume, portfolio, etc. and get back out there and find a role I can do really well in.
So because of the circumstances, I wasn’t able to get far enough to begin Semester 4 this week. It will start as soon as possible, I promise. I really, really apologize for the delay, guys. While this whole mess has obviously been…pretty much out of my control, I still feel bad missing my deadlines and letting you all down. Seriously, I piss myself off when I miss comics. I hate it. :( Please forgive me, haha.
I’m going to try updating the art blog today, though. There’s still some kinks with the layout (because I can’t figure out php >_< ) but since I’ve working on some newer artwork for my portfolio, I figured I’d share with you guys. Thanks for reading, and I’m hoping to be back working again soon – working hard on comics, and also at a great new job!
